This is Nellie. She is a very playful puppy that will be 6 months old on the 25th. She was born in a shelter in battlecreek and fostered until she was old enough to go back to the shelter. All her siblings were adopted so Nellie came to rescue. She is being socialized with other dogs cats and kids and would be good in any family. She will be a medium sized full grown. About Our Rescue Group...
We are a soon to be non-profit/501c3 organization that rescues all breeds of dogs, puppies and pregnant females from high kill shelters, animal controls, owner surrenders and strays. We are a small foster based organization with a loving group of volunteers. We strive to responsibly rescue, vet and provide accurate information on our dogs to future adopters and match them with the pet that will suit their life style the best. We also try to provide them with education and support to help them keep their animals healthy, happy and in their home for the duration of their lives.

We are available to do adoption events on a steady basis 2- 3 weekends a month and sometimes add onto our load with special events.

Our Adoption Process...
We require an application, home visit, vet check, adoption (including spay/neuter) contract. Fee for puppies under 5 months is $250 with $50 deposit returned when proof of spay/neuter is shown. Dogs/puppies fully vetted and altered are $250. If you are interested in one of our animals, please go to our website at www.poetanimalrescue.org to fill out an application.
