Alana's Story...

A Second Chance Animal Shelter

'Where we give animals a second chance.'

5079 Alex Harvin Hwy

Manning, SC 29102

Timid But Sweet

Alana entered the shelter on Feb. 4, 2013. She and her sister Arista were both rescued from the county control. Her birth date is estimated to be November 22, 2012. She's up to date on her vaccines, heart-worm free, and has already been spayed. Due to the fact these little girls spent most of their puppy-hood running the roads and in and out of shelters, they both have trust issues. They lack confidence and courage and are easily frightened. These girls have so much love to give but both are very shy. There is no doubt that they can overcome this. However, they need a patient family with a calm environment to give them the time and attention they need.

Our buisness hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 9am to 3pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alana, a Manning Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Manning, or seeking a Beagle puppy from a breeder in Manning.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manning already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manning breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manning paves the way for another one to be saved.
