Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Corky is a victim of cruelty. He was confiscated by animal control authorities in Maryland where he led a life of starvation, thirst and filth. He was covered in ticks and fleas which were cleaned off one by one. He was severely underweight at just 14 lbs. In fact, with just normal feedings, he has gained 5 lbs in one week. He came in with bald spots, dry flaky skin, brittle hair, heavy tartar on teeth. He does not like his back feet to be touched as the only surface he has known is wire cage. The spaces between the wire can really hurt their feet which is why he may be so sensitive. This boy needs someone who will nuture him and show extreme kindness. His condition is one of the two worst of the group from this case.
