Dooney's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Dooney's Story...
Dooney is a three-year-old poodle mix who is blind and epileptic. But don't let his special needs turn you away! His epilepsy has been addressed with (easy and cheap) medication and he gets along great despite his blindness. He's very smart and learns to navigate very quickly. Special needs animals are wonderful companions too, and are especially deserving of loving homes.

Dooney is from Iran. He was found dumped at a park when he was just a puppy. He has been stateside for four months and is eagerly looking for a place to call home.

Dooney is very friendly and loves to be held. he sleeps most of the day.

Dooney is neutered, up to date with shots and microchipped. He is housetrained once he is shown where to go.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dooney, a Vista Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Vista, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
