Miss Camille's Story...
My name is Miss Camille and I am an adorable little gal around 8 months old! I was found in a local park and turned into Miss Kitty's. I am a black kitty with little white hairs throughout especially the ones that form a little color around my neck. I am being fostered along with my "step brother", Quincy. Because I came into contact with an FIP cat (Feline infectious peritonitis), I am now considered "special needs", but that does not mean I will ever have the disease. But as a result I need to be with a single cat owner or adopted with my companion, Quincy. I am a very calm, quiet little girl and would be great in a quiet home. I have become a "sink sitter"and love wrestling with Quincy! Please call my foster mom, Elizabeth for information on Camille or Quincy at (928) 848-9509

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miss Camille, a Prescott Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Prescott, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Prescott.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Prescott already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Prescott breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Prescott paves the way for another one to be saved.
