My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BRUIN is a dashing 1 year old purebred Australian Shepherd. He is a male powder blue merle with copper points with odd colored eyes. Bruin is neutered, up to date on vaccines and is ready for his forever home. Bruin is a soft boy, sweet, and a little shy. This boy needs a gentle hand. Not much is known about his past, but, it is believed his previous owners were a bit harsh and heavy handed, as he will cower with loud noises, news papers, raised hands and "cracking" noises. Bruin was dumped at a shelter by his owners, and a good Samaritan rescued him. He has learned to "pack play" and is coming around quite nicely. He has been poked, prodded, hair tugged etc. without even an attempt to defend himself. Bruin is good with other dogs and cats. Bruin has been fine around children and has not shown aggression towards them, however he must be placed in a home without children. He is leash trained, knows basic obedience and is crate trained. Bruin seeks a home with previous Aussie experience and one who understands their quirks. Bruin would be best suited in a quieter environment and would thrive on consistent exercise and discipline. Please submit an adoption application through Border Collies In Need if you are interested in Bruin.
