Moki's Story...
Moki is a six year old husky or malamute mixed with golden, we think. He is very sweet, loving and spent the last three years of his life as a family pet. He is totally trustworthy indoors and is housetrained, rides great in the car and loves people. Moki is a love muffin. He does bluster meeting new dogs so he needs proper introductions but he has lived with other dogs and went to work with his mom and befriended all the other dogs in the office. Not sure how he is with cats. He is a gorgeous, sweet boy who deserves a home. He had a weird incident where his family closed him in the bedroom with their 2 year old son - who he had always been great with, and the son ended up getting bit. But no one saw what happened - it could have been an accident or the kid fell on him while he was sleeping. But regardless he should not be placed in a home with small children or with visiting small children (under 12).
This gorgeous boy is in Boulder, Colorado.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moki, a boulder Husky/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Golden Retriever for sale in boulder, or seeking a Husky/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in boulder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in boulder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a boulder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Husky/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in boulder paves the way for another one to be saved.
