Penny's Story...
Meet Penny! Penny came to us from a terrible hoarding situation with a few other dogs. She is a beautiful girl and had a huge zest for life! She is very playful and loves pretty much everyone and everything. She loves to give kisses and be around her humans. She needs some work on her manners, but overall she is a fantastic girl! She is very submissive and eager to learn.

Penny is housebroken and full vetted. She has a lot of energy, but she LOVES to play with toys and go on walks. She did well with cats, kids and other dogs but she may play a little rough for smaller dogs in the home. Due to her energy, no children under 6 years old please.

If you are interested in adopting Penny, please complete an application on our website at www.zoeshouserescue.com. Penny has a tax deductible adoption fee of $175.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Penny, a Sinking Spring Dutch Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dutch Shepherd for sale in Sinking Spring, or seeking a Dutch Shepherd dog from a breeder in Sinking Spring.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sinking Spring already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sinking Spring breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dutch Shepherd breeders who help with Dutch Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sinking Spring paves the way for another one to be saved.
