Hi, my name is Bryleigh! I am about a year old and a petite girl at 35 lbs. I am estimated to be a Plott Hound mix, possibly with some Greyhound. They suspect the Plott Hound based on my brindle face and legs and Greyhound because I’m slender and athletic. My foster mom brags on me all of the time because I am house trained and I don't even need to be in a crate. I get along very well with other dogs and cats and I am extremely patient and loving with my new foster sister who likes to jump all over me and play bite me. :) I am a great snuggle bug and I enjoy curling up with my foster mom every chance I can get. I enjoy daily walks and playing fetch in the back yard. One thing that is cool about me is that I can jump really high when I am outside playing! I don't try to get out of the fence but I would do best with a tall fence. I will make a wonderful family pet and I look forward to finding my FORever home. I have been spayed, microchipped and am current on my Rabies Vaccine, Distemper/Parvo and Bordatella vaccines. I am also heartworm negative and current on heartworm and flea prevention. My adoption fee is $200 to help the rescue with some of these costs and I am being fostered near Huntsville, AL. Please email Friends of Rescue atinfo@FORrescue.net to fill out an application to meet me! Be sure and tell them that Bryleigh sent ya!
Rescue Group Info...
Friends of Rescue is a certified 501(c)(3) organization consisting of volunteers who are devoted to saving shelter dogs that are in danger of euthanasia. Rural Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee shelters have a constant overflow of dogs, little funding, and limited space. Once the dogs arrive at the shelter, they have very little time. It is our goal to help save these adoptable dogs and adopt them out to loving families. Although our priorities are the retriever breeds, we are not limiting ourselves to retrievers because we know that there are many great dogs that need our help. We are NOT professional trainers or animal behaviorists; simply volunteers who are trying to save these dogs from euthanasia.
We have many wonderful dogs and cats looking for FORever Homes!
Our adoption fee covers their complete age-appropriate vetting, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm/flea prevention, and full medical records.
Please email us at info@FORrescue.net for an application to begin the adoption process.
