Bailey's Story...
Bailey originally came to Grateful Dogs Rescue in 2005. His owner died suddenly and, although he is grieving, his loving personality shines through. He is an adorable, huggable 11-year-old Corgi-Pom mix (his body is mostly Corgi and his head is the Pom part!). Other than a few extra pounds that will melt away with a diet and walking -- which he loves -- he is very healthy. Bailey is looking for a companion he can hang out with on the couch, at the park, or on a nice walk through the neighborhood. His ideal home will be one without small children. He doesn't require a lot of exercise but he loves going for walks and being outdoors. He is good on leash and seems to be fine with other dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a San Francisco Corgi/Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Pomeranian for sale in San Francisco, or seeking a Corgi/Pomeranian dog from a breeder in San Francisco.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Francisco already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Francisco breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Pomeranian breeders who help with Corgi/Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Francisco paves the way for another one to be saved.
