My name is Shadow, I was born around June of 2009. I am what they call a dilute calico. But fortunately, I don't have the personality of a calico. I am sweet and a little shy until I get to know you. But if you show me affection, I will quickly respond. I am not a kitten anymore, but I love to pla,y especially with the plastic balls my foster Mom gives me. One thing I LOVE is getting my belly rubbed! My foster Mom pets me frequently and that is the best part of my day! If you are looking for a very pretty girl, please ask START about me and come meet me. I am looking for a forever home, and I will be the perfect pet you have been searching for!
Shadow is vaccinated, altered, FeLV/FIV tested negative and microchipped. Save The Animals Rescue Team, (S.T.A.R.T.) is a non-profit humane organization, founded by Annette Lamberti, that rescues stray, abandoned, injured, and abused kittens, puppies, cats, and dogs. The animals rescued are examined by a veterinarian, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and placed in one of our volunteer foster homes. Since S.T.A.R.T. does not have a shelter facility, these animals remain in our foster care until they are adopted. So many of these unfortunate animals are victims of pet overpopulation, therefore, this life-saving work is critical!!
It is our mission to prevent cruelty, promote spay/neuter, and to encourage awareness through education, while also teaching respect for all animals and the environment they live in. S.T.A.R.T. is a 501 (c)(3) private non-profit organization relying on and supported by tax-deductible donations, grants and group fund raising.
