Callisto
7 Year Old Female Brown Marbled Bengal Declaw
Homed currently in Connecticut
Beautiful Callisto. She has the "Gorgeous Bengal Green Eyes" and "Luxurious, Soft Glitter Coat" giving every hair an iridescent sheen. Callisto is everything a Bengal is suppose to be: a bold, active, inquisitive girl, who likes to be in high places and "where the action is," which will probably be with you. Callisto is very playful and animated and she will require playtime with her owner with jumping and chasing type toys. She loves her horizontal scratching posts and rigorously uses them. If you like cats whose feet stay on the floor, then a Bengal is probably not for you. But if you like an active, interactive cat then Callisto may be your girl.
On the other side of Callisto's personality is the charming Bengal girl who is a lap cat and very social and affectionate with humans. She will sleep in bed with her humans (preferably on top of them). Callisto will also burrow under the covers and snooze there during the day. Callisto loves to drink water from sink faucets and will run and jump on the counter in advance of her human and patiently wait until the faucet is turned on for her.
Since Callisto is somewhat aggressive with the Bengals she is currently sharing a home with (despite her smaller stature at 10 pounds and lack of claws), she needs to be an only cat with someone at home to keep her company, be her play partner and share a wonderful life together. Callisto will come to you healthy, spayed, current on vaccinations, FeLV/FIV negative and microchipped. She prefers Greenies treats to almost anything else, and enjoys premium dry cat food (such as Origen, Grasslands, Blue, and Evo), higher protein foods that are best for the high energy level of the Bengal breed. Please note that Callisto is in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home in the state of Connecticut.
