Meet little Pablo or Pablito as he likes to be called. He is about 8 months old and weighs 7.5 pounds.
Pablo is very trusting of people and a world class snuggler
In his foster home he is experiencing for the first time in his young life that the world can actually be a safe place.
Because of his sensitive disposition Pablo will thrive in a calm forever home as the only dog or with a mellow canine companion. Pablo is truly as sweet as they come.
I have been neutered, micro-chipped, had my rabies, bordatella and distemper/parvo vaccines as well as been de-wormed and flea medication applied. I also come with a free vet visit with Mt. Tabor Vet Care!

Pound to Posh has Senior, Veteran and student discounts! They also take Visa, Mastercard, Discovery and AMEX cards. Thanks for looking into rescuing a dog. You will be saving a life.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pablo, a Portland Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Portland, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
