Boody's Story...
This extremely friendly, cute brindle Boston apparently was abandoned around the Anderson High School several weeks ago. He loved the students and finally talked a teacher into taking him home. But, her male dog was not sharing his space so Boody was then passed on to this woman's sister. Her male (un-neutered terrier) did not appreciate Boody's presence either, so they called FFAA for help for Boody. Both ladies who cared for him said he was a wonderful little guy and would have kept him if they could. Boody cried as he stared out the door, watching them drive away. This little man needs someone to love, who won't leave him behind. He is house-trained, loves everyone including children. Boody is 1 to 2 years of age, and stocky little guy at 24 pounds. He is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and hoping his next stop is a place to call "home" for the rest of his days.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boody, a Neosho Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier for sale in Neosho, or seeking a Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Neosho.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Neosho already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Neosho breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier breeders who help with Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Neosho paves the way for another one to be saved.
