Mollie's Story...
Mollie is about 18 months old and is an active, loving girl. She's super sweet and gets along really well with other dogs. She loves to play with her roommate, Trooper. (She's not intimidated that Trooper outweighs her by about 30 pounds!) Besides that, her favorite 'treat' is getting the chance to shred/chew an old tennis ball - but she's not randomly destructive! She's house-trained and crate-trained. Please call or text message Jody at (352)316-5155 to hear more of her story or email Jody for an application HeflinJ@bellsouth.net...

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mollie, a Williston Plott Hound/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Plott Hound/Boxer for sale in Williston, or seeking a Plott Hound/Boxer dog from a breeder in Williston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Williston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Williston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Plott Hound/Boxer breeders who help with Plott Hound/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Williston paves the way for another one to be saved.
