Dominic's Story...
You can visit with Desiree (and her brother, Dominic) at the Petsmart in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA.

Hi, my name is Desiree and I'm 5 months old. I'm looking for my Forever Home, along with my sister Desiree. I am more black with some white and my sister is more white with some black. We were rescued (along with some other kitties) from a hoarder that had 30 cats. We are really very sweet but still pretty shy with people at first. I'm a little more outgoing right now than my sister. Desiree and I want to be loved and petted and we hope you will be patient and understanding with us while we get used to you. Like most kittens we are very playful and would love to have lots of toys for you to play with us. We get along very well with other cats so it's no problem if you already have a kitty. I hope you will open your heart and give us chance to realize what it would be like to live in a home where we can be the center of attention.

We hold adoptions every Sat & Sun from 12-3:00pm at the Rancho Santa Margarita Petsmart, as well as, at the Foothill Ranch & Lake Forest Petsmart. For an appt. to meet Dominic & Desiree please call 949-829-0036.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dominic, a Foothill Ranch Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Foothill Ranch, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Foothill Ranch.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foothill Ranch already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foothill Ranch breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foothill Ranch paves the way for another one to be saved.
