Max's Story...
You can visit with Max at the Petsmart in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA.

Hi, my name is Max and I'm a 2 yr. old brown/white tabby. I was found abandoned in a motel by the manager who wanted to keep me but the main office said "no pets". That's how I ended up at the rescue. Before I was rescued I was so stressed that I continuously licked myself and much of my fur came off. My fur is still thin but I have stopped licking excessively and it is starting to grow back in.

The volunteers say I'm such an angel and so handsome. I don't like being in my kennel and just want to come out so I can get some attention and love. I so want a nice, safe, warm and loving home where I will be well fed and showered with love. Hanging out with you would be great.

We hold adoptions every Sat & Sun from 12-3:00pm at the Lake Forest Petsmart, as well as, at the Foothill Ranch & Rancho Santa Margarita Petsmart. For an appt. to meet Max please call 949-829-0036

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Foothill Ranch Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Foothill Ranch, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Foothill Ranch.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foothill Ranch already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foothill Ranch breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foothill Ranch paves the way for another one to be saved.
