Hi my name is Blue. I am approx 2 years old and I was dumped off at the shelter with my brother because our family could not keep us anymore. My brother was lucky enough to get adopted right from the shelter but I had a problem with my eyes, its no big deal, its all taken care of now, but nobody wanted to adopt me until that was taken care of. I had whats called entropia and that's when the entire eyelid is turned inside out. It was very uncomfortable for me. Think about how you go crazy when you have one eye lash in your eye, well I had all of mine turned in. Thankfully I had surgery on my eyelids and its all been taken care of. My eyes are red now, but that will heal up and I will look great in a few weeks. I am a real honey-bun, I love to follow my foster mom everywhere she goes and I love to play with the other dogs in the house. I am with a min pin and a pittie and I love them both. If you are looking for a great boy, then please fill out an application for me or email my foster mom Terri at Reeder555@hotmail.com

We are the Burlington County Animal Alliance (BCAA)located in Central New Jersey. We are a non-profit organization 501(3)(c), all volunteer rescue that saves animals from our local shelter and surrounding areas of New Jersey that are in danger of being euthanized. We take them into our program, get them the necessary medical care they need and adopt them back out to loving forever homes. We have 60 volunteers, many that open their homes to foster the homeless animals, we do fundraisers to raise money so we can continue to save the dogs and cats in need. We run strictly on donations from our adoptions and people who support our work.BCAA adopts to families in New Jersey, parts of Southeastern Pennsylvania and parts of New York.
We have weekly adoption events at PetsMart every Saturday from 11:00 am till 2:00 pm at the Eastgate Square Shopping Center, Rt. 38, Moorestown, NJ and PetsMart, 62 Centerton Rd, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054.
Our adoption process starts with the applicant filling out an adoption application for the pet they are interested in. When they have completed and submitted the application, the screening process is started, which consists of a vet check, phone interview and home visit. Once all the steps are completed, we determine, by our findings, if they are approved, and if so, then they are allowed to adopt from our organization. The final step is they must complete the adoption contract, along with the donation for the animal, which goes into our medical fund to defray their medical costs. All of our animals are spayed and neutered, up to date on all their shots, including rabies, they are parasite free and on heartworm preventative.
