Starsky's Story...
Hello, my name is Starsky and I was rescued from a area shelter. I am crate trained, love to play and run outside. I have lots of energy, that will need to be run and played, out of me, before I will settle down to get love and attention. I am a herding breed, so I might knock down, young children. But over all, I am a sweet, sweet boy!! For more information email aarfva@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Starsky, a Richmond Australian Cattle Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
