Rudy's Story...
My name is Rudy.
My brothers and I were rescued after being deserted by our first human owners. I am definitely a lap cat and I am always ready to snuggle. Sometimes I will gently remind you to pet my head by using my paw (without claws extended) to pat your hand. I am on a search for a forever home and I get along well with other cats, dogs, and children. Plus I am litter trained. I am a boy, although my foster mother originally thought I was a girl and named me Ruby because I am such a sweetheart. My vet soon told her otherwise and suggested changing my name to Rudy. I am about 8 months old and have had my rabies shot and been de-wormed and neutered. I am a domestic shorthair. My long silky fur is black with a patch of white on my belly. My eyes are yellow and one look into them and you will fall in love with me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rudy, a Beaufort Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Beaufort, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Beaufort.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Beaufort already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Beaufort breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Beaufort paves the way for another one to be saved.
