found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
Barry loves to snuggle, and has got game--he will toss up tennis balls for himself to catch. He also loves to find the biggest toy in the house and wrestle with it like he is master of the universe. He loves his toys so much, the groomer gave him a special toy that he fell in love with there, and they saw how happy it made him they let him take it home. This boy is a charmer for sure!
Barry and Betty showed up on the doorstep of one of our volunteers. They were taken to the shelter in hopes of being microchipped, and of locating their owners. Found dogs ads were placed, but no one claimed these two adorable dogs. The Humane Society of Stanislaus rescued both of them from the shelter at the earliest possible date to put them into a foster home and they are waiting for their fur-ever homes! Although, they came together, either dog would do well if adopted separately--we will offer a discount if adopted together!
Since Barry is a rescue, we are unsure of his true parentage. But looking at many dogs, and his body type (long and low) and his coat type, fairly straight and soft (it doesn't mat easily) we believe he is Shih Tzu and Maltese. A Mal Shi or a Tzu Mal. Barry has some learning to do, but has caught on quickly to everything but the house training, but he is getting better about that every day!
If you love to laugh at doggie antics, and then want to settle in for a good snuggle here is your guy! If you would like to see more pictures he has his own "album" on our facebook page --facebook.com/humanestanislaus. You will see his total transformation, from when he was taken to the shelter to his "groom-over."
Barry will be available after February 10th, he will be neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250, a small price to pay for love and devotion that will last a lifetime!
