Watson's Story...
WATSON is a friendly and playful 4-5 month old Border Collie/Lab mix that weighs 25 lbs. WATSON is super smart and a fast learner according to his foster mom. He walks great on a leash, is crate trained and getting the hang of house training. WATSON loves meeting new people and will stay close to you when you're out and about. He is very affectionate and wants to put his head in your lap when you are sitting down. Definitely a cuddle bug! WATSON is getting along well with the resident cat in his foster home and just thinks the cat is someone to run around and play with. This well behaved pup is located in Tallahassee. Adoption fee is $125 and transport in FL can be arranged.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Watson, a Tallahassee Labrador Retriever/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Tallahassee, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Tallahassee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tallahassee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tallahassee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tallahassee paves the way for another one to be saved.
