Rex's Story...
Rex is a very sweet guy who is a little frightened at the shelter and very concerned about the goings on here. He is a younger, yet husky Beagle who would really love a home and family. Rex seems to get along with other dogs and is more at ease around dogs he’s already met. He knows the rules around the shelter and abides by them for the most part so we think he would fit right into a regular home. Rex is a really affectionate and snuggly boy although he does not like kids for some reason. He has a great little sniffer that can search and destroy any morsel left on the shelter floor and often we are wondering what he is looking for under those blankets, then wha la! He found a kibble :)Rex is a great doggie who is looking for a mature hosehold. He loves the outdoors but would love a home even better! About Our Shelter...
HELP The Animals Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization. We are the only No-Kill Facility in Wayne County IN. We house and care for hundreds of animals daily. We run on a small staff and the kindness of many volunteers. Donations are always accepted and appreciated.

Come Meet Our Pets...
We are located at 2101 West Main Street in Richmond IN 47375. We are open to the public for adoptions Tuesday through Saturday from 1pm to 5pm.

Our Adoption Process...
All adoptions require an application. You can submit an online application from our page at www.HelpTheAnimalsInc.com. After the application is approved you will sign an adoption contract and you may take the animal home. DOG ADOPTION FEES $95 CAT ADOPTION FEES $65. All of our animals are flea treated, wormed, spayed/ neutered and up to date with viral and rabies vaccinations. All cats are Feline Leukemia tested and all dogs are Heart worm tested. We can also microchip your new pet for an additional $20.
