Molly's Story...
Molly is about 3 years old, weighs a bit over 8 lb. She is on a diet to regain her figure. She has already lost almost 2 lbs. since she’s been here. She is a real sweetheart, but a bit shy with strangers. She gets along with other dogs once she gets to know them, but wants to be the Alpha, and shows a bit of aggression at first. She would be happier as an only dog. She is pretty well behaved, wants to be close to her people and she has started to play with the other dogs occasionally.

Molly’s mama passed away and none of the family could keep her so they gave her to us. She is spayed and up to date on shots.

Molly’s adoption fee is $250. She is being fostered in Spanaway, WA. Please contact Marlene at mbtlcs-rescue@yahoo.com or digsdogs@frontier.com, if interested in Molly.

We do not do same day adoptions unless you are pre-approved. Adoption application with references checked & a home visit are required. We do many special events during the year, so check our calendar on our website: www.chihuahuarescueandreferrals.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly, a Seattle Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
