Bo is a Chihuahua mix, possibly toy rat terrier. He is about 5 yrs. old He is a big boy at 18 lbs. He is on a strict diet to lose at least 8-9 lb. Has already lost 1 lb. Apparently his previous owner equated food with love. Needs somebody who can give him lots of exercise through play and walks. He likes other dogs, kids, people of all ages. A great family dog! No idea about cats. He does try to play with the other dogs, and is frequently seen attacking stuffed toys and tossing them around! He does have a stubborn streak, though. Bo is neutered and up to date on shots.
Bo was found wandering a mall parking lot. When this guy opened his car door, Bo just hopped right into his car like he belonged there. The man was unable to keep Bo since his schnauzer did not like any other dogs and kept attacking him. He was unable to locate Bo’s owner, so contacted us.

We are a group of volunteers that take in unwanted, abandoned or homeless Chihuahuas and Chihuahua mixes. We take care of any Vet needs they may have and evaluate them as to temperament and likes and dislikes. We then match people to dogs and after completing our adoption process we send the dogs to their Forever Homes where they will be loved and valued as a family member.
We operate on donations and always have a need for things like leashes, harnesses, dishes, high quality dog food, beds, blankets and most importantly FOSTER HOMES!

We organized in 2005 and CR&R is registered as a non-profit charitable organization in Washington State & has Federal 501(c)(3) STATUS. We have successfully re-homed over 250 dogs!

Please contact each foster home where a dog lives that you are interested in to make an appointment to meet them. We participate in various events throughout the year where we show off our adoptable dogs.
Our adoption fees vary depending on the age and health of the dogs. We require that an adoption application be completed with at least two personal references and one Vet reference. We also do home checks to be sure the dog will go to a safe environment. Our Adoption Contract assures that the dogs will be cared for and if they cannot remain with the new family they MUST be returned to us.
