Benjamin's Story...
Benjamin is about 14 mo. old, a Chihuahua mix, and weighs about 7 lb. He is a happy, playful puppy still. Loads of personality and energy! Gets along great with other dogs. He, Chester #345, and Zoe #357 play together a lot. He has not gotten used to being alone yet, suffers a bit of separation anxiety. She said he was house-broken, but seems to have forgotten his manners here with so many other dogs. He needs to have a playmate.

Benji was surrendered because his owner’s other dog had been poisoned, supposedly by a neighbor who hated animals, and she was worried he would be hurt also.

Benji’s adoption fee is $250. He is being fostered in Spanaway. Please contact Marlene at or if interested in Benji.

We do not do same day adoptions unless you are pre-approved. Adoption application with references checked & a home visit are required. We do many special events during the year, so check our calendar on our website:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Benjamin, a Seattle Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
