Hunter is a sweet 2 year old Hound dog. Hunter is a happy boy. He gets along great with all other dogs, and children. He has not yet been tested with kitties, but because of his hound dog instincts, his prey drive is high. He is an active boy, so he would benefit from having another dog in his house to play with. He is potty-trained, and while he would prefer to snuggle with you in your bed, he is crate trained also. Hunter is currently finishing obedience training and is doing great and learning many new commands. If you give Hunter a chance, his sweet personality will win you over.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hunter, a Garden City Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Garden City, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Garden City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Garden City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Garden City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Garden City paves the way for another one to be saved.
