Champ's Story...
Meet Champ! He is the biggest love bug you have ever met. Champ comes to us from a shelter in TX where he was found wandering the streets. Poor Champ is extremely skinny, has demodex mange, intestinal parasites, and a bad upper respiratory infection but he doesn’t let that get him down. Champ is good with other dogs and loves his humans. His idea of the perfect day is to play a little and spend lots of time cuddling and being loved on by his people. Champ is currently undergoing treatment for his medical conditions but is accepting applications for his forever home when he feels better. Champ is new to rescue and undergoing evaluation, more information will be available soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Champ, a Fort Collins Dogue de Bordeaux dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dogue de Bordeaux for sale in Fort Collins, or seeking a Dogue de Bordeaux dog from a breeder in Fort Collins.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Collins already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Collins breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dogue de Bordeaux breeders who help with Dogue de Bordeaux rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Collins paves the way for another one to be saved.
