VEDDER's Story...

Meet VEDDER! Possibly named after the rock star because he is just that...a Star!! Vedder is a beautiful medium/long haired kitty with fur so soft to the touch you just  want to snuggle him forever. He is very laid back for the most part, but also shows his young man fire-  he can  be the first to instigate a good, friendly tumble with the other kitties in his foster home. ;) He also gets along very well with the resident senior cats, who have taken to him amazingly as well.
His foster mom's  9 year cantankerous cat doesn't like anyone but is tolerant with young Vedder and even curious about him. He's actually really brought her out of her shell and is just an all around great kitty to have as a  companion. You can't go wrong with him. He also does well with the dogs once he gets used to them. Vedder is a delightful boy who would be so happy to be part of your family for Christmas and the Holidays. If this gorgeous guy is what you've been looking for, please call his wonderful KDN foster momma, Debbie, at 951-796-2427 to meet this fantastic boy!

About Our Rescue Group...
~Saving the cats of Devore shelter, one kitty at a time. No friendly left behind.~

Kitty Devore Network is a non profit group comprised of dedicated volunteer rescue workers devoted to the networking, rescuing, rehabilitating, and re homing of the cats and kittens currently housed within Devore Shelter in the city of Muscoy in San Bernardino county, California.

Each day, we work diligently to coordinate rescue efforts designed to save the cats and kittens unfortunate enough to be admitted into the Devore shelter. Through the use of social networking, we work to gain exposure for each of them as a means of recruiting foster families who can care for them temporarily until a more permanent home can be found or adopters who can commit to providing them with the life long and loving home they each deserve.

Our rescue efforts don't end when a cat is safely liberated from the shelter. Oftentimes, it's only the beginning- but we think they're worth all the effort to ensure that they have that second chance at a long, happy, and well-loved life.

Our kitties truly are special, and we invite you to meet them here on the pages of petfinder. We DO have a kitty that will compliment you and your family and bring you many happy moments and memories, year after year. We sincerely look forward to introducing you to our little ones, and you know what? Our furbabies can't wait to meet you wonderful humans too. :)

Our Adoption Process...
Ready to make your life a whole lot sweeter? ADOPT A DEVORE KITTY!

Our foster parents would be pleased to talk to you about their foster furbaby and see what kind of kitty you are interested in to ensure a purrfect fit!

Kitty Devore puts a ton of love into our rescue kitties and will do our very best to match our cats and kittens with an adopters lifestyle so that everyone is happy.

The first step is contacting the foster parent. Have a chat. Be honest about what you expect from your new furry family member and our fosters will be honest about whether the particular kitty you are interested in is right for you and your family.

If the kitty of your heart's desire sounds like a good match to you and the foster after your initial contact, the rest is easy! Our team will guide you to make sure of it.

Step 1: Fill out the adoption form/contract.

Step 2: Set up a meet and greet with your potential kitty to see just how wonderful he or she really is!

Step 3:Schedule a safe and friendly home check with us.

Step4: An adoption fee if you and kitty are a purrfect match!

So, what are you waiting for? Go fall in love with one of our kitties! :)
