Sam's Story...
COMMUNITY DOG IN NEED OF HOME: Meet Sam. Sam is a Chihuahua/Terrier mix. His brother is Dean (in the picture before this one). They are both in desperate need of a loving and patient home- these two brothers were found abandoned in a field off of Pease Rd and have survived in an orchard for a month that I know of as, that’s about how long it took to get close to them. They are truly amazing little guys who are becoming more and more confident and lovable everyday! They can no longer stay where they are and I’m scared that if must go to Animal Control they will be separated or worse. Sam is still very timid and scared. He is so afraid of people and other dogs but once he knows that they won’t hurt him, he will seek out their constant company but at a safe distance. If someone can please help with either a temporary or a forever home, I will help with neutering and vaccination costs. Please call Sande at (530) 751-9069 or email at sandey@juno.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sam, a Yuba City Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Yuba City, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Yuba City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yuba City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yuba City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yuba City paves the way for another one to be saved.
