Lola's Story...
Lola is a sweetheart looking for a forever home. She is a loving and quiet senior Chihuahua that loves to sit on your lap. She is 12 years old and 5 pounds with long blonde hair. She has some cloudiness in both eyes and working on potty training. She has had a recent dental with four teeth removed, spayed and up-to-date on vaccines. She prefers soft food and treats. She will sleep in a kennel or in bed. She would prefer a home with no children because she gets nervous with their fast movements and loud noises. Her adoption fee is $100. For more information please email Lola's foster Mom in Roy, WA at wendyjo4@yahoo.com or digsdogs@frontier.com

We do not do same day adoptions unless you are preapproved. Adoption application with references checked & a home visit are required. We do many special events during the year, so check our calendar on our website: www.chihuahuarescueandreferrals.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lola, a Seattle Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
