Sunny-Courtesy Post's Story...
Meet Sunny! This wonderful shepherd/lab mix is looking for a forever home. Here is what her foster mom has to say about Sunny - She has been with me for several months and I can't say enough good things about her she is as sweet and loving as they come.

She LOVES people, loves to play with the other dogs (but she can be bossy with them). She's currently in a home with 3 MALE German Shepherds and does very well with them. But that's because they put up with her bossiness, another female dog probably would not. So, she would do best as the only girl in her new home.

There is also a cat in the home. . . Sunny started out a little more curious than I was comfortable with, now sometimes she's good and sometimes she just wants to terrorize poor kitty. . . so if you are comfortable with keeping your eye on her around the cat(s) and correcting her for inappropriate behavior around the cat, she may be fine.
She is a cuddle bug, loves to sit in your lap and snuggle, will gladly sleep with you and snuggle.
She rides well in the car, likes to play with toys but could use some obedience for her leash training and the "come" command, (she is starting to do much better on "come") she is crate trained.

Sunny is up to date on her vaccines, spayed, totally housebroken and she weighs about 60 lbs. She is just waiting for a loving family to come along and take her home. If you are interested in adopting Sunny, or would like more information, please email Jan at dogshope@dogshope.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sunny-Courtesy Post, a North Olmsted Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in North Olmsted, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in North Olmsted.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Olmsted already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Olmsted breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Olmsted paves the way for another one to be saved.
