Our beautiful little girl Laurel is a jack russell mix that is only about 2 years old. This little lady has been through such a tough time, but she is not letting it get her down. Laurel was found as a stray, that had been on the run for at least two weeks during some of the coldest weather that NJ has had in years. Laurel may have strayed from her home, or she may have been abandoned, we'll never know, but what we do know is that she was terribly neglected by someone. Laurel came in with horrid skin and ear infections, frostbite, and very thin and sickly. She was immediately given the medical treatment that she needed, and some warm blankets and a good meal, and it was obvious that she was very grateful. Laurel is now on the road to recovery and is feeling so much better already. She seems to be a bit of a shy and quiet girl, that enjoys long, quiet walks and the company of caring and gentle people. Laurel is very well behaved and easy going, and doesn't seem to mind other animals at all. She would love a quiet home where she could spend her days napping in front of a fireplace, or cozying up to someone that loves her on the couch. This precious little girl is so deserving of a wonderful home and a fresh start in life.....please help prove to her that there are still good people in this world that will treat her right! 2/1/13
