Nemo's Story...
I was named after the recent blizzard that we had named Nemo. I was found under a parked car crying and crying for someone to notice me and help me. Fortunately someone heard my pleas for help and brought me into their foster home. I am about 3 to 4 months (16 to 20 weeks). I am white with tiger markings. I am very friendly, affectionate, purrs up a storm. I was so hungry and thirsty when I first got into a warm home - I think that I may have been out for a few days.

We are asking for a donation in the range of $50 to $100 in lieu of adoption fees. This will include neuter, vaccinations, testing for FIV and Felv

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nemo, a Brockton Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Brockton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Brockton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brockton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brockton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brockton paves the way for another one to be saved.
