My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adopted 10-26-13. Yipee!!!

Angel is a Yorki-Poo (Yorkie & Poodle) female. She's 1.5 years old & weighs about 8 lbs. Her curly hair is grey, white & black. She doesn't shed & is hypoallergenic. This happy, friendly, sweet little dog is a major player & loves living with other small dogs. She plays with all the little dogs at her foster home & gets along great with everyone. She also loves the plush squeaky toys & chewie toys (deer antlers, bully sticks). She's spayed, fully vaccinated, dewormed, professionally groomed, & had a vet exam. Angel is an owner-surrendered dog; her family is facing foreclosure & cannot afford to keep her. She lived with other small dogs in her original home & is very socialized. Angel loves both humans & dogs. She's a fabulous dog who is good about everything. She has an excellent temperament & is very smart. She's an easy & easy-going dog who will be an absolute joy to her new people. She's 100% potty trained (piddle pads & outdoors). Angel's foster parents have only wonderful things to say about her.

Toy Poodles & Yorkies are both intelligent. Poodles are highly responsive & are said to be one of the most trainable breeds. Sweet, cheerful, perky and lively, they like to be with people. Delightful, very amusing and keen, they make a very good watchdog for their size. This little dog can be good with children, however is usually recommended for older children, who know how to display leadership skills & properly treat a small dog.

Angel needs a home with at least 1 other small, younger dog who loves to play with other K9s (not bigger than 13 lbs & not older than 4 years). She's a good match for adults or a family with older children (8 years & up) who have small dog experience & know how to properly treat them. Her adoption donation is $300. If you have the kind of home Angel needs, click here Adoption Guidelines to read our adoption criteria & complete an adoption application. Thank you for choosing to adopt & save the life of a homeless pet!
