Feisty's Story...
Feisty here. Nice to meet you. Feisty means "spirited and spunky." I guess that could fit me but "snugglebug" is probably better. I am a very young cat so do have spirit and spunk for sure. I was found as a stray in Denver so my background is unknown. Was I adored and loved? Or was I ignored and left on the streets to parish alone? Thankfully, someone rescued me and brought me to MaxFund.

My favorite thing to do is to sit on your lap or snuggle close to you. When I first arrived at MaxFund, I was not thrilled with the program. I mean, who wants to get shots (vaccinations) and be examined by strangers? Rather than react with calm and poise, I was a little spunky. Hence, I got called Feisty. But once the volunteers and staff starting talking sweet nothings with me--telling me softly how beautiful I am, telling me how much they love me and asking me to trust them--then I really started to warm up. I now love pets. My favorite is when you stroke my head from my nose to the top of my head. I also enjoy having my ears stroked. And give me a lap, and I'm yours! I'm a very small little girl and fit perfectly in just about any lap -- big or small.

The folks here think I am a great cat, and someone (or family) will be lucky to have me. I am a cat so I will likely jump on counters, sit on couches, jump on tables and explore. If that is ok with you and you also want a snuggle bunny, then we'll be best friends. Please come see me for yourself and discover why "Feisty" is the perfect cat for you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Feisty, a Denver Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Denver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
