Charlie-PENDING's Story...

CHARLIE HAS AN ADOPTION PENDING. Charlie is a sweet and gentle 1 year-old Lab/Shepherd mix male with maybe a touch of Hound in the mix too. He has such a kind and loving face. Charlie was a stray at an overcrowded county dog shelter where dogs don't have much chance for adoption so when no one claimed him, he came to Canine Lifeline to make a fresh start with a new family. Charlie is very dog-friendly and loves all people he meets too. He truly hasn't met a stranger! He loves chilling in his crate after playtime and always looks forward to dinnertime. Charlie is still a pup so chewing is a favorite pastime. He'll need to have plenty of his own chew toys in his new home to keep him out of mischief. With some training and lots of love, Charlie is sure to be a great companion for years to come! He weighs about 56 pounds and his adoption fee is $200. Charlie is neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up-to-date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it's a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you're interested in Charlie.

An adoption application must be filled out and submitted to be considered for adopting any Canine Lifeline dog. Please visit http://www.caninelifeline.org/2010/adoption-process/ for more information about our adoption process and to download a copy of the application. You can either email the application to info@caninelifeline.org, or mail it to: Canine Lifeline, Attn: Adoptions, PO Box 25742, Garfield Hts, OH, 44125-0742. Thank you!

Rescue Group Info...

About Our Rescue Group...
Canine Lifeline is an all volunteer 501(c)3 organization with a mission to save adoptable dogs from being euthanized at shelters due to overcrowding or treatable medical conditions such as heartworm. All of our dogs are in foster homes throughout northeast Ohio.
Come Meet Our Pets...
Canine Lifeline takes adoptable dogs to Petco in Macedonia most Saturdays from noon - 3 pm. If there is a particular dog that you are interested in meeting, you can contact us and we can bring him/her to the store for you to meet. We also participate in many adoption events throughout the summer. Please check our website at www.caninelifeline.org for the most current adoption event listing.
Our Adoption Process...
All Canine Lifeline dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, up-to-date on vaccinations including a one-year rabies, and are on monthly heartworm preventative. In the warmer months of the year, our dogs are also on a flea and tick preventative. The adoption fee for dogs up to 7 years of age is $150. Senior dogs may be adopted for a reduced fee of $100. Since all of our dogs come from shelters and have been stray or abandoned at least once in their lives, we want to make sure that their next home is for keeps. That’s why each adoption comes with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a perfect match before the adoption is finalized.
