Dudley's Story...
My name is Dudley, and I am a Treeing Walker Coonhound mix about 5 years old. I have big paws, and a big heart. I have yet to find a dog or person I don't get along with yet! My favorite things are food, and being scratched by my ears or anywhere nearby. I'm laid back, love to sleep, and discovered the couch is just a wonderful place to do just that. But right now I have to share that couch with my foster brothers and sisters, can you adopt me and give me one of my own to lay on, next to you? Oh and I don't really bark much, except when my dinner is being made up. Mostly i'm quiet and calm. Dudley is neutered and up to date on shots. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dudley, a Hazel Park Treeing Walker Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Treeing Walker Coonhound for sale in Hazel Park, or seeking a Treeing Walker Coonhound dog from a breeder in Hazel Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hazel Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hazel Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Treeing Walker Coonhound breeders who help with Treeing Walker Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hazel Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
