Chance's Story...
Chance is a young dog, about six months old. He's an adorable little guy, weighing about seventeen pounds. He's house trained and enjoys the occasional ride in the car. He sleeps in his crate every night and loves to go outside to play. He spends most of the day indoors with his foster family but likes to go out often to explore. He gets along great with the other medium sized dogs at his foster home. We haven't introduced him to cats yet but will be happy to do a cat test, if needed. Chance welcomes guests to his foster home and only barks occasionally. His foster mom says he "talks" more than he "barks". He's a great young dog :). About Our Rescue Group...
Friends of Rescue is a certified 501(c)(3) organization consisting of volunteers who are devoted to saving shelter dogs that are in danger of euthanasia. Rural Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee shelters have a constant overflow of dogs, little funding, and limited space. Once the dogs arrive at the shelter, they have very little time. It is our goal to help save these adoptable dogs and adopt them out to loving families. Although our priorities are the retriever breeds, we are not limiting ourselves to retrievers because we know that there are many great dogs that need our help. We are NOT professional trainers or animal behaviorists; simply volunteers who are trying to save these dogs from euthanasia.

Our adoption fee covers their complete age-appropriate vetting, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm/flea prevention, and full medical records.
