My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Faith. My foster mommy named me Faith because we had to have a lot of it to believe that I could become the healthy, happy dog I am today. I was a stray-cold, alone and starving. Luckily, someone who knew a lot about dogs saw me and snatched me up. She contacted this group and asked them if they could help me. I was only 27 lbs--all skin and bones and had lost most of my fur from a severe flea infestation. I got a warm bed and big bowls of food, but I wasn't getting better. I was so weak that I could barely walk without wobbling. I had to be on 5 weeks on medicine to get rid of a bacterial infection that was holding me back. Take a good look at me now!!! I am 36 lbs. and my fur is almost all grown back. That nasty infection is all gone. I am up to date on vaccines, tested negative for heartworm and am current on heartgard and frontline. I have also been spayed and microchipped so I will never end up on the streets again. I am 6-7 years old and would love a family to show me the life I never had as a pup. Do you have Faith in me?
Faith's adoption fee is $200 to help recover some of her vetting. Please email sveourshelterdogsrescue@yahoo.com for an application and a chance to meet Faith.
