Jack & Jill's Story...
These two precious dogs, Jack and Jill, were taken to the local vet to be euthanized after their elderly owner passed away. As clients of that clinic, the vet and staff could not put down these two happy and healthy dogs. Upon hearing their story, there was no way we could not rescue them!

They are both doing well here at the rescue, though they have simply been with us too long! They are great little house dogs, and that is where they deserve to be! They need to be in a nice warn home, not spending the rest of their life in a rescue. Jack and Jill are both spayed/neutered, micro chipped, current on all vaccinations, heart worm tested negative, de-wormed, and completely ready for their new home.

If you think you can help them, please contact us today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack & Jill, a Kittery Feist dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Feist for sale in Kittery, or seeking a Feist dog from a breeder in Kittery.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kittery already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kittery breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Feist breeders who help with Feist rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kittery paves the way for another one to be saved.
