Wilhelmina's Story...

This foxy young lady is Wilhelmina. Her previous owner kept her locked in a crate for most of the day and wanted to put her to sleep because she didn't get along with the new dog, even though she has so much love to give! Wilhelmina is about 12 years young, spayed, healthy, declawed and absolutely gorgeous. She is incredibly sweet and gentle and appreciates lots of love and attention in a quiet household with no dogs or small children. Wilhelmina loves to be held and cuddled. When her soulful eyes look into yours, you will fall head over heels for her, just like we did! Please give Wilhelmina a chance!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wilhelmina, a New York Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in New York, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
