Caitlin's Story...

Say hello to Caitlan, a lovely tortie looking for her forever home. She’s very sweet and loves to lick your fingers clean for you, tell you how her day went, and follow you around the house and just be in the same room with you. Although she does love to shower you with affection, she is a bit nervous about being on the receiving end of love, but will open up to you over time. This beauty would do best in a quiet home where she can blossom.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Caitlin, a New York Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in New York, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
