Smiley's Story...
My name is Smiley and I am 7-year-old female Beagle that Arizona Beagle Rescue (AZBR) rescued from the Humane Society along with sister, Stripey. Sadly, my family lost their home and could no longer care for the two of us. My foster mom says I am very sweet, lovable, and do what I am told. I am housebroken and don't even mind a crate. Recently, my sister, Stripey, found her forever home so now I am hoping to find my very soon. I am a little overweight, but am on a strict green bean diet with daily walks. My weight does not slow me down though. I like to cuddle and get along with other dogs and children. I was cat tested with a volunteer's cat and passed. I do like to bark, but quiet down when told to.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Smiley, a Phoenix Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
