WALDO fka Jay Fae A18939205 Update name, pic, bio
What’s up? Waldo here and I can’t seem to find my home, can you help? My name is Waldo (A18939205) and I am a Bull Terrier mix around 6-12 months old. I am just a pup who loves to play, play, play and play some more. I haven’t been to dog school, so I haven’t learned some of the things that good dogs know. I do know sit, but that’s about it. Since I’ve been at the shelter for a while, I am now a part of the Pen Pal Program, and I have 2 dedicated volunteers who spend time with me and teach me things like not to jump up to say hello. I do walk nicely on something called an Easy-Walk. My friend here at the shelter think I am adorable and smart, and that since I love treats I am easy to teach new tricks. My home is where I have a loving family who will help me continue my education on being a good dog, and I will love them forever. I hope I have some doggy siblings, cause right now at the shelter I have a roommate and I love other dogs. You should bring the whole family to meet me to make sure we are a good match. For more information about me contact my pen pals tashwolf@yahoo.com or peg380@msn.com.

The Animal Care & Control Team of Philadelphia (ACCT Philly) is the region’s largest animal care and control service provider. ACCT Philly is an independent, 501c3 nonprofit organization, contracted by the City of Philadelphia to provide animal control services. Our animal control officers provide service over 142.6 square miles to the city’s more than 1.5 million residents and ACCT Philly’s facility in North Philadelphia handles more than 32,000 of the city’s animals, from dogs and cats, to small animals, reptiles, birds and wildlife, annually.
In addition to animal control and sheltering, ACCT Philly is open 365 days a year for pet adoptions. ACCT Philly also supports a foster care program where community members provide temporary homes for sheltered animals and one of the (if not THE) most extensive rescue partnership program in the country where approved rescue partners accept ACCT Philly animals into their adoption programs. Under contract ACCT Philly’s Animal Control Officers provide animal control services and code enforcement. Other exciting ACCT Philly programs include a food pantry for low-income pet owners, a vibrant volunteer program, trap-neuter-return for community cats, a unique Pen Pal program to assist dogs at risk … and so much more!
