Rami's Story...
Rami, female, 3 yrs old, Rat Terrier, 10 lbs. Contact
Rami, is a 3 year old rat terrier. Unlike most rat terriers, she is not hyper & she is not a barker. She gets along with other dogs and
knows to potty outside. Rami's favorite spot is on a lap giving lots of kisses. She loves to run at the dog park. She also does well on a leash.
Rami is current on vaccinations, heartworm negative, spayed and microchipped. She is waiting for a home with a lap and lots of attention.

*****If you would like more information about the dog featured above, be sure to send a note to the "Contact Person." This is the person fostering the dog and they will be happy to answer any questions you have. Please don't just show up at Adoption Day expecting every dog to be there. We are limited by the number of volunteers who can help at each Adoption Day. Also, in sending your note to the Contact Person, be sure to include information about yourself, family, home, yard, fence, other pets, work situation, and pet accommodations. This information will help us make the best match between you and one of our dogs***

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rami, a Kingwood Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Kingwood, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Kingwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kingwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kingwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kingwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
