Tuffy's Story...
Tuffy came to us as a stray and is just the cutest, sweetest dog. He is about 2 years old and wieghs 8 pounds. He is good with other dogs and kids. Tuffy loves to cuddle next to you and to play. He even knows how to dance! He is housebroken, chipped, neutered and current with vaccinations. He is temporarily on inexpensive medication for Valley Fever which is very treatable; he should be off meds in a couple months. He's little but tuff...that's why we call him Tuffy! He is not a barker. Tuffy has a lot of love, comfort and joy to give. Check out his cute photos and video on this page. Let us know when you want to meet him!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tuffy, a Scottsdale Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
