Daisy's Story...
See her video here! http://photopeach.com/album/tmn0bm
Beautiful Daisy Dog was found with no puppies and severely inflamed mammary glands. One ruptured while she was still in animal control, and Southern Animal Rescue stepped in to get her to the vet. Now fully healed, Daisy is ready for a forever loving home that will never neglect or abandon her.

Daisy's personality is simply phenomenal. She lives in a foster home with 6 other dogs and is buddies with them all. She instantly takes to people, and is great with adults and kids (she spent Christmas with several children!). In typical pit mix fashion, she is highly intelligent and very trainable. She knows "sit" and "stay". Daisy does have a high energy level, so would do best with a family that can take her on regular runs or walks.

We're thrilled that we could rescue this sweet, innocent soul. She will make some humans VERY happy! Please email southernanimalrescue@gmail.com for information on adoption!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Atlanta American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
