Zoro's Info...

Breed: Domestic Shorthair Color: Black & White Or Tuxedo Age: Adult
Sex: Male ID#: 5403844 Hair: Short

I am already neutered, housetrained, a special needs pet, declawed, and good with cats.

Zoro's Story...
What can we tell you about Zoro???
-4 year old (turns 4 on April 13th) neutered male
-a sweet, sweet guy!... and very smart
-front declawed
-born without eyes, but his lack of vision doesn't impact his ability to live a full kitty life
-loves to play with toys and climb up high
-very friendly, will sleep on your stomach if you're relaxing on the couch
-likes to play kind of rough & tumble with other cats (had a buddy cat that was dominant but loved to play with him...sadly his buddy died)
-believe he would be fine as an only cat as he loves people
-was diagnosed with struvite crystals which were cleared up after being put on special diet (per vet he needs the special food, and only the special food, for his lifetime
-due to his blindness his other senses are keen and he would be best in a quieter environment where furniture etc. is relatively consistant (he got along well with 9 month old child but was challenged by some of the increasingly noisy toys that come with growing children...his family loves him but realizes he would be better in an environment without the commotion of small children)

This is a courtesy posting. If you are interested in Zoro, please fill out the Community Cat application and we will put you in touch with his foster mom. If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful cats or kittens, you can apply on our website: http://www.commcat.org . Please allow several days for us to process your application. We are a small, all-volunteer group and we are doing our best to work quickly! After the application is processed we will make arrangements for you to meet the cats that interest you. All of our cats and kittens are raised in our homes and live with us until they are adopted. They live with us as part of our families so we know them very well and we can help you find your perfect cat! Cats are rarely caged (only if its medically necessary) so you can visit with them and see how they act in a home. Our adoption fees are $50 for adult cats, $85 for kittens under one year, and double the love with two adult cats for $85. All cats are spayed or neutered, dewormed, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, tested for FIV and FeLV (feline leukemia), and microchipped.

Rescue Group Info...

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a cat advocacy group dedicated to ending feline overpopulation in our area. Our purpose is to help owned and unowned cats in our area by facilitating high quality, high volume, low cost spay/neuter services; helping caregivers to find resources to keep and humanely care for their cats; and providing care to cats in need, especially those who may not find help elsewhere.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We are completely foster home based and do not cage our cats unless medically necessary. Because we are foster home based, we require an approved application on file and will then make arrangements for you to meet that special cat or kitten!
