Pixie's Story...
Pixie
Pixie is probably a Chihuahua-Miniature Pinscher mix. Female, spayed and estimated to be about 2-4 years old. She up to date on all her shots. I am currently fostering Pixie when she first came to me she was a very skinny & very scared little gal. Now she a very happy, confident dog! It took a while for her to build her confidence as she may not have ever had a “person” to really love her and she may regress a bit with her new family but once she figures out you will love her forever you will have the SWEETEST CUDDLE BUG dog ever. Pixie is fine with all of my dogs and is cat friendly. My big Golden tries to play with her and she is a bit overwhelmed by his size so I think she would do best in a home with smaller dogs. She would also do fine in a home with just humans as her favorite thing to do is sit near or on the lap of someone. She will be your happy “shadow”. She is kid friendly too. She doesn’t require a lot of exercise but does love walks and has the cutest little “prance” while walking on her leash. Pixie constantly puts a smile on my face as she is just so happy to have a home and be loved. She is doggy door trained. Pixie has “dry eye syndrome” and will require daily eye drops for the rest of your life. She has gotten use to this and will run when you take the drops out of the fridge (ha) but doesn’t fight it when you apply them. The cost is about $15 per month. An application and home visit will be required to complete this adoption. Adoption fee is $50.
